About Us:

"Everybody is gifted, talented, and creative...not just a chosen few", says artist John DiNaro of Horse and Eagle. Whether creating murals for the Madison Avenue boardroom or mentoring kids in the elementary school classroom, John's mission for the past forty years has been to connect people with their own artistic talents and to create fluid forms that espouse and celebrate nature.

Artist John DiNaro is very active in the secondary school classroom, guiding teachers and students through the creative process. His work with the Lahey Elementary School of Greenlawn, NY won the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Schools achievement award in 1996-1997, sponsored by the National Association of Elementary School Principals and presented by President Bill Clinton. Over the years, John has branched out from sculpture, his original forte, to courtyard design, mobiles, fences, windchimes, and paintings. For more about John and his art work, visit his personal website or visit our Gallery

Artist Elizabeth O'Connor often works with John. An outdoor educator, wildlife rehabilitator, sailor, and international marathon kayaker, Elizabeth has made her mark in the art world through illustrations, paintings, and award winning wildfowl carvings. Keenly in touch with nature from land and water, Elizabeth creates the intricate and beautiful detail in Horse and Eagle's full wall and ceiling wildlife murals commissioned by corporate, educational, and private clients. She also provides art for brochures, museum displays, and outdoor signs. For more information on Elizabeth as a paddling instructor visit her website at Changing Tides PaddleCraft
